The details are superb and I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves. Megahouse is really stepping up with some of its recent releases. The quality of this figure is outstanding. As to whether the figure is representative of the character, I'd say it all boils down to personal preference and, for me, I am quite satisfied. Hijikata Toushiro is a character from the hit anime series Gintama. He is known as the Demon Vice Commander of the Shinsengumi in this show. In the show, Hijikata actually became an otaku who was also interested in collecting anime figures. His love for mayonnaise is very much emphasized in the show where he can be seen eating bowls of it or even using it as a weapon.
