Megahouse POP DX Ver. 2 Dracule Mihawk

Hello everyone! For this post, we will be showcasing actual pictures of Portrait of Pirates (POP) DX Dracule Mihawk Ver. 2. The Portrait of Pirates line is Megahouse's high-quality figures for One Piece Characters. The POP line is characterized by excellent details and are larger in size as compared to Figuarts Zero figures. I am comparing the two since Figuarts Zero is another product line that caters to numerous One Piece characters.

Dracule Mihawk is the greatest swordsman in the world of One Piece. He is Roronoa Zoro's ultimate aim. Aside from this, he is also one of the Shichibukai. Very early on in the series, he met Roronoa Zoro and they had a duel which resulted in Zoro's loss. After that, the both of them had a very peculiar relationship where Mihawk became Zoro's rival and teacher at the same time. Mihawk is one of the very cool characters in One Piece if you ask me. I personally like Roronoa Zoro and it is only right that Zoro is aiming for a guy like this considering how epic Dracule Mihawk is.

Mihawk is also known as "Hawk Eyes" and if you look at his eyes in this POP figure, you will see where he got this nickname from.

This PoP figure is the second version of Dracule Mihawk released. The first version reflected the original style of drawing for the One Piece series wherein most characters had a more cartoon appearance. With this Version 2 of Mihawk's PoP, it reflects the current trend in One Piece drawings wherein the characters are much more realistic in their body shapes as compared to their appearances in the first few episodes of One Piece.

This figure stands about 10 inches tall excluding the sword from its measurement. Aside from his stock pose folding his arms, he also comes with an extra head, two arms, two hands, one black sword, and another cross necklace. That's quite a lot of interchangeable parts considering that Mihawk will only be standing in this PoP. The number of interchangeable parts provides you with more options on how you can pose him and I think the numebr of parts also justify his more expensive pricing in the secondary market.

This figure is pretty epic but please be careful when handling the sword. Also, I didn't notice at first but I didn't screw the head in properly when I first took pictures. The other head comes with his spiky hair which can be a bit sharp when you're trying to put it on him. Enjoy the actual pictures below!

Megahouse G.E.M. Hijikata Toushirou Ver. Ka

Introducing to you Megahouse G.E.M. Hijikata Toushirou Ver. Kai! You will find pictures of the actual product here. I would have to say unboxing this figure was a great pleasure. The details are superb and I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves. Megahouse is really stepping up with some of its recent releases. The quality of this figure is outstanding. As to whether the figure is representative of the character, I'd say it all boils down to personal preference and, for me, I am quite satisfied.  Hijikata Toushiro is a character from the hit anime series Gintama. He is known as the Demon Vice Commander of the Shinsengumi in this show. In the show, Hijikata actually became an otaku who was also interested in collecting anime figures. His love for mayonnaise is very much emphasized in the show where he can be seen eating bowls of it or even using it as a weapon. This is a Version Kai (New) because there has already been a previous release of Hijikata Toushiro ...

Figuarts Zero Perhona (Thriller Bark) from One Piece

Hello everyone! I'm back with another post. This time, I'm going to be doing a quick review of Figuarts Zero's Perhona from One Piece. This is the Thriller Bark edition and not the New World / Sailing Again edition. If you ask me, I prefer Perhona in the Thriller Bark arc since I think her costume is better and her color scheme is quite good at that time. She looks like candy by looking at her predominantly pink colors. And I also prefer her younger version during the Thriller Bark arc as compared to the more mature version of herself after the timeskip. Perhona (sometimes just Perona) first appeared in the Thriller Bark storyline. She used to serve under Gekko Moriah, the Shichibukai, but now she is seen tagging along Dracule Mihawk. It seems that Perhona has also developed somewhat of a relationship with Zoro since the both of them were taking up residence in Dracule Mihawk's mansion after the Sabaody Arc. Perhona's devil fruit power (Hollow Hollow Fruit / Hor...

Actual Pictures of MegaHouse G.E.M. Tetsuya Kuroko

Hello! I'm back with actual photos of Megahouse G.E.M. Tetsuya Kuroko from Kuroko's Basketball. I'm still new with the lighting but actual product with you may differ from the pictures due to the lights. Anyway, enjoy the actual photos of GEM Tetsuya Kuroko and I hope this will be helpful for you! Tetsuya Kuroko is one of the main protagonists in the anime series Kuroko no Basket. He is the famed phantom sixth man of the basketball team which was known as the Generation of Miracles for their talent. He was called as the "Phantom Sixth Man" because you could barely notice his presence and he was not as famous as the other members of the basketball team known as the Generation of Miracles. In his new team, he is paired up with Taiga Kagami who can go head-to-head with the members of the Generation of Miracles. Taiga Kagami and the other members of the Generation of Miracles have their own figures by Megahouse as well.  While Kuroko is known as the phantom s...
