For today, we have actual product shots of Megahouse's Naruto - The Last Movie Ver. This item is quite simple with few accessories. However, don't let the simplicity fool you. The item is actually quite nice and the details are good (as expected of GEM). I got this piece for around P4,000. The Last movie takes place two years after the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke.
Below is a picture of the item outside its box. As you can see, it only consists of three things:
Full body shot of Naruto facing to the left. Here in this picture, you can see the plastic support for his right leg as he does the running pose. You can actually pose him even without that plastic support but I prefer leaving it on all the time to prevent issues of having the figure leaning.
Here is a close-up of his right foot and of the plastic support. I really enjoy these supports since they make me feel more secure in knowing that the chances that my figure will lean are very slim.
This is a shot from behind. The details are quite excellent. You can see his pouch (?) and his sidebag (?) - sorry I don't know what those were called in the series.
Close-up of the buttons on his costume.
Below is a picture of the item outside its box. As you can see, it only consists of three things:
- the item itself
- the base of the item, and
- the plastic support for the running pose of the figure.
The base uses metal pegs to support Naruto standing up on one leg only. I really appreciate this since I had a figure before that stood up only on one leg too. The peg got broken and I can't display the figure anymore without looking for a solution. With the metal pegs, the chances of the peg breaking is practically zero.
The design of the base is simple but, then again, I have seen much worse bases, so I don't see a reason to dislike this one.
A plastic support is included to prop up his right leg to prevent issues of leaning of the figure.
I'm happy at how Megahouse has not ignored the small details of this figure. Then again, Megahouse generally takes care of the small details especially with G.E.M. In the pictures that will follow, you will see the details on his forehead protector, his jacket, his hands, and even the pouches on his back.
Naruto is one of the few series that has stood the tests of time. In fact, most people are still looking for Naruto's successor. Considering the recent influx of Naruto figures, I think it is high time that Naruto gets the PVC treatment it deserves. In the earlier days, we really had trouble looking for Naruto figures. The good news is that more and more Naruto figures seem to be coming out. Will we see more characters from the series soon? I do hope so!
Now, another series that could definitely use more figures is BLEACH. But, then again, that will be for another time. What characters from the Naruto series would you want to see released next? Personally, I hope they would release a Jiraiya. But that is just my wishful thinking.
Anyway, you can see more of our photos and comments on the item below:

Here is naruto this time facing to the right. You can see that his other hand is bandaged. On another note, since this is a running pose, shouldn't they have made this with the traditional "Naruto Running Pose" with his arms flailing at his back? :p

The paintjob on his forehead protector is also good.

Is that a Hermes belt that Naruto is wearing?
In conclusion: It is a very simple figure. I like it since I won't be left feeling bad for having unused accessories left in the box.
